Happy New Year to All in 2009

 

It is that time of year once again when we forge ahead with the hope and promise of a New Year filled with both Health and Prosperity.

 

The InnerLight products are attracting a consistently high caliber of people that care about taking their health to the next level. We continue to attract people from all over the globe and from every walk of life and are proud to say we have over two hundred and fifty thousand people in the InnerLight system. Leading with the products has been, and always will be, the right strategy. Nothing should change here. By sharing our products we can demonstrate to people that they can not only look better, feel better and have more energy, but we also have the ability to change lives, to show people there is another road they can go down and it’s called prevention - it is here where the opportunity lies. Our job is to educate people on our products, show them the ease and sumplicity of sharing it with others, then plus them into our training systems.

 

As sponsors & enrollers we must educate our new distributors on the basics of the business which will enable them to focus on the steps needed to build their distributorships. Many new distributors are reaching the Executive Director and Bronze Director levels in record time. Duplication continues to fuel the growth of our company. It’s a daily reality and far from theory. CREATE CLEARLY DEFINED WRITTEN GOALS. For 8 years I’ve been working the Network Marketing industry and I learned very early on the importance of writing down your goals and having a clear vision of where you are going and what your future is. Your goals can be considered your “road map” to success. Failing to focus on writing your goals makes it easier for you to get lost along the way, to drift, never reaching your final destination! Our goals give us a clear vision of what we want to achieve, and a timeline to reach that vision in. I challenge you now to write down what you want to achieve in the coming months and throughout 2009. This effort will have a huge impact on your business!

 

MENTOR AND DEVELOP KEY PEOPLE ON YOUR TEAM. This strategy has taken many leaders businesses to unprecedented levels of success. Here is my recommendation: Business Builders should establish a minimum of 5 personal enrollees within your organization. . Following this approach will lead to stability within your group and increased growth in your income. It is also the pathway to the higher levels of our company, Bronze, Silver & Platinum Directors.

 

HELP YOUR NEW ENROLLEES CONTACT THEIR WARM MARKET QUICKLY. As a “3rd party” you bring tremendous credibility talking to someone elses contacts. Quickly after joining I like to have the new enrollee write down the names of 5 - 10 key people they would like to share our products, and, hopefully, our business with. Within two weeks, invite these people to a PBR (Private Business Reception) in your home or office where you talk about the product. You could also do a conference call and get help from me to moderate. The transition from product to business can go something like this. “Some of you have expressed interest in knowing more about the business and how you can incorporate it into what you’re currently doing. If you are interested, just speak to me and I will make some time to explain how the business works.” At minimum, your new enrollee with walk away with several new customers and the people closest to them will know about their new business venture. Your new enrollee with have planted some seeds, will have overcome some fears and the “Momentum” for their team will have been started.

 

THE FORTUNE IS IN THE FOLLOW UP. Personally I’ve been on the products for 8 years and we have so many other experienced people that are ready to help you. It really boils down to focus. Over the next few weeks get better organized. Design an efficient system of follow-up. Teach it in depth to every new distributor. Never assume that all new enrollees understand that “the fortune is in the follow-up”. Usually this is one of the last things a new distributor figures out. Let’s redouble our efforts and change this to give the “class of 2009″ an incredible head start.

 

CONTINUE TO IMPROVE YOUR USE OF TECHNOLOGY. The learning never ends in this area. Just get started. To run your business it’s critical that you have an InnerLight replicating website and that you use email. I can’t imagine doing business without them. We already have an unbelievable “virtual office” that allows us to place orders, sign up new customers and distributors, and track every aspect of our businesses - allowing all of us to tap into the enormous power of the internet. I know that using this technology has made me more effective: increasing my productivity, lowering my expenses and keeping me better connected to the people in my organization.

 

SPREAD THE MESSAGE GLOBALLY - BUILD A WORLDWIDE TEAM. InnerLight is poised for unprecedented growth this year with continued expansion in Europe. Another huge market is Asia. We will continue to expand and grow our business there too. Never before has an InnerLight distributor had this type market potential with this many prospects looking to Alkalize & Energize their bodies. It has never been easier to start a downline team in another country. Global barriers have been broken down by the internet and international commerce. Let people know you have a global business and you are looking to expand into other countries. Ask people who they know in countries we do business in like the UK/Germany/France/Germany/Hong Kong, to name just a few. Many people you come in contact with have international contacts. Not only will it surprise you but many will be willing to share them with you!

 

PARTICIPATE IN INNERLIGHT EVENTSIt doesn’t matter if it is regularly scheduled weekly conference call, a webinar, a 7-Day cleanse call, a Regional or National Event, it’s the same answer. Participate. Participation is key but it’s also important to communicate to your downline what is happening so they can participate if they choose. Don’t ever pre-judge anyone’s interest in these events. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying you have to be at every event.

 

There is no better time than now to reflect on how you will move forward with your InnerLight business and to heighten your commitment to make it to “the top” next year. The real beauty of our business is that each of us will choose the level to which each of us wants to take his or her business. It’s a matter of investment of time, consistency of effort and personal focus. The timing couldn’t be any better and these products and our system work. The question is…are you working?

22 Nov 08 7 Steps To Winning The Network Marketing Game

Network marketing, also known as multi level marketing (mlm) involves the process of distributing products through a team of independent business distributors, and has in its time been tainted with some very negative publicity.

But despite that, network marketing has survived and is a fantastic business model when you find the right company. It is one of the few business industries where the opportunity to earn money is only limited by your own mind! But the difficult question to answer is always “What company should I become a distributor for?”

Below are 7 very important aspects to consider when thinking about becoming an independent distributor for a network marketing company. If they can tick all the boxes mentioned here then chances are they will make a great company to become involved with.

Due diligence is important before you start because nothing is worse than finding yourself involved with a company that doesn’t last, or finding yourself ready to give up because you did not get the support you require.

1. Look at the experience of your sponsor

I have placed this first because it is even more important (in my opinion) than looking at the company. You can join the best company in the world and get no support, or a small network company and have constant daily support that helps you to achieve your financial goals.

The thing to look at is the experience of your sponsor in helping you with this business. Many people will be working full time while building their business, or they may be a sole proprietor earning extra revenue. Take a look at what they do or did in their main job and how those skills can help you when you are building your business.

You also want to find out how accessible they are. Can you easily get hold of all their contact details? How long does it take them to respond to your calls or emails? Of course this may not be an indication of how they will help you after you join. They may start off attentive until you are in their team. But it can also be an indication of a supportive sponsor.

Do they offer any activities or business building resources outside of the normal company ones? Maybe they run tele-seminars for their team, or provide worksheets that will help you plan your business.

You can succeed without an attentive sponsor, but it makes life so much easier, and really shortens the learning curve when you have one.

You should seek to align yourself with an experienced leader and learn as much as possible from his or her recruiting methods. Be sure to investigate your sponsor because that can be the one factor that determines success or failure for you. It is said that misery loves company; so does success.

2. How Stable Is The Company?

Now take a look at the company. Have they been trading for more than 5 years? Do they have solid financial backing? Excellent management? Training and Resources? A ‘distributor first’ philosophy? These things are important. You have the advantage of being able to choose from a huge range of network marketing businesses, so why choose one that doesn’t care?

You want to make sure that learning how to make money as a distributor is easy to understand, and you want to make sure that the company has been doing it long enough to believe they will be around for a while.

You know the saying that the proof of the pudding is in the eating; just so the proof of the stability of a Network Marketing company is in the duration of survival.

3. What customer support is available?

What support is offered for new distributors as they learn the ropes? How are established distributors looked after? You want to know this not only for you, but for everyone that you will introduce into the business. If you introduce someone who becomes unhappy with the lack of support they will give up and leave very quickly. It takes a lot of work to build your team, don’t let lack of customer support ruin it.

Usually as a distributor you are also the customer, so what support is offered on that end? Is customer support for your potential customers easy to get hold of and do they have a policy for answering questions quickly?

4. What products are available?

What you are looking for here is quality, it is a tough enough job to spend your time recruiting new distributors without having to deal with unhappy customers. High quality (unique if possible), reasonably priced products or services.

It has been a tradition of network marketing companies to produce high end, great quality products because the thousands saved on advertising is instead used in product creation and distributor training.

What you are looking to do is to be paid on a regular basis, you want monthly income coming in from your customers so look for products that will provide that.

Apart from being consumable, another important factor is how ‘needed’ this product or service is. If the product on offer is one that can be picked up locally then chances are you will not do as well as if you are selling a unique product that is hard (or at least harder) to find.

5. Compensation Plan

I have already mentioned that a successful MLM company will have a “distributor first” philosophy. In no other place should this be exhibited more than in the compensation plan. It takes only some simple arithmetic to see how many sales or distributors you need in your organization in order to be in profit. Most people don’t take the time to do the math and sometimes are “deceived” by the fancy potential income charts that are put out by the company.

Take a good long look at the whole compensation plan, do not skim through this because it seems “boring.” Also avoid getting taken in by claims of 60% compensation and other large percentage claims.

Many companies provide training and promotional materials for their distributors but it is often difficult to strike a balance between product promotion and distributor training. And distributor training normally takes a backseat (which is why a great sponsor is important - see No1 above). You should be wary of companies that charge exorbitant prices for their promotional materials. You are investing your advertising dollars so the company should not seek to make a profit from you here-although many do.

6.Terms and Conditions

Of equal importance to the compensation plan are the terms and conditions. Look to see whether you are tied in for a certain period and whether you are willing to comply with that. Check out whether there is anything stopping you from immediately leaving the company. In the company that I am a distributor for you are paying for a package. They provide a monthly option for those not able to pay the full price upfront, but you cannot turn around a few months later and decide to leave (although a settlement fee is available).

Once you join you must pay the full fee, and it is important for potential distributors to know this in advance. Rather than a hindrance this is actually an excellent policy for stopping potential distributors from joining who want to “try it out” or who are not serious about building a business. After all nothing is worse than spending 6 months of supporting a distributor to then have them leave because they found a better service. Having this in place means that distributors who join are immediate in for the long haul and are ready to begin building a profitable business with your help.

7. A wide and even global market if possible.

With the arrival of the world wide web you will find that many network marketing companies are now becoming global, and in fact if they are not I would question why not! Business survival now depends on being able to operate online and the internet provides you with the opportunity to widen your market reach.

Also look at the potential customer base as well. Does your opportunity appeal to all ages and groups, or is it limited to one or two in particular? Some of the most popular network marketing opportunities are those that run from the internet and offer you the chance to promote via a website.

Choosing a company that has a product or service for which there is no ready market will make it very difficult on the distributor. And in this industry encouragement and a fairly easy way to recruit are essential if you are going to survive!

Network marketing is one of those business models that provide success for people who are determined to succeed. You do not need any particular background or level of education, and as long as you have a “never give up” attitude and are willing to put in the hours it takes then you will go far.

The financially important aspect of network marketing is the fact that it provides you with an opportunity to earn continuous income. In fact once you have grown your team to a certain size you have very little to do and the money keeps on coming!

If you work in a job or run your own business it provides a welcome and important secondary income. Nothing is secure anymore and being able to tap into other sources of income outside your main one is being seen as an essential activity to engage in.

A sad reality of the MLM industry is that there are many scam artists that come along just for the quick cash just before they close shop and disappear, which is why due diligence is so very important. Watch out for scam artists that want to charge you a lot of money, make huge promises on commission, and are not delivering quality products. These people pray on the fact that we basically can be quite lazy and want things quick and easy. They also pray on human emotion, if we are stuck financially and believe that getting involved will earn us quick money.

Stick to a company with years of experience, a great product, a fantastic sponsor and support for its distributors and you really can’t go wrong.

22 Nov 08 Does anyone eat strictly RAW foods?

Why? Are you vegan? How do you feel? Do you have more energy? Is it easy to go out to restaurants to eat? Please explain to me, I want to learn. Thanks!
I try to eat mostly raw foods, it’s really hard… I am vegan, I’ve been vegan for a few years. I feel great, but constantly hungry when I only eat raw foods. I never run out of energy though. No it’s not easy to go out to eat, unless maybe if you live in NYC or San Francisco. There are salads everywhere, but salads get really boring when that’s all you eat. I don’t think you should feel like you only have to eat raw foods - you can just decide to eat a higher percent of raw foods. If you go to a large bookstore, you’ll find raw food books in the cooking (oh the irony) and the health sections. I recommend you take a look. You’ll probably be inspired by what the authors have to say about how great it is. And maybe you’ll be discouraged by all of the foreign things you’ll need for the recipes. I can really feel the difference in my body when I only eat raw foods, but like I said, it’s hard! Especially when everyone you spend time with eats cooked food…. Good luck!

Weight loss is among the most substantial benefits of the pH miracle diet. Many people have turned to this diet for the purpose of losing weight, as well as to enhance their overall health. Among its other positive effects, the pH miracle diet is efficient at removing extra weight.

Obesity is a nationwide epidemic. According to recent studies, more than 59 million adults older than age 20 are obese, which translates to 30 or more pounds overweight. One in three Americans are overweight to the degree that it puts them at medical risk for a variety of conditions, including heart disease, heart attack, diabetes and hypertension. Even more startling is the number of children that qualify as overweight and obese in the modern age. In the early 1990s the National Center for Health Statistics found that 15 percent of kids between ages 6 and 19 were overweight, which was twice as many as those calculated in the early 1980s. The numbers have grown even more; today, 9 million children are at least 15 pounds overweight, with many millions qualifying as obese.

These alarming obesity rates can be attributed to our disastrous lifestyle of highly acidic foods and high levels of stress. The more acidic a body becomes, the more fat the body will store. Overweight conditions result from too much acid stored in the body. Eliminating acid from the diet with the pH miracle diet will help you lose weight.

The accumulation of fat is actually the body\’s attempt to contend with high levels of acid waste. Many people think that fat is bad and that it is the enemy that needs to be attacked. Actually, though, fat is just a symptom of a larger problem: acidity. You may be surprised to find out that your fat is saving your life, shielding your body from rising levels of acidity. When you eat massive amounts of sugar, starches, red meat, dairy products and other acidic foods, your body uses fat to bind to the acid in an effort to protect your cells.

The acidic cycle in your body functions in this way; when you eat foods that produce acid when they are digested, this resulting acid builds up in your body. When the acid is not eliminated quickly, it can disturb other cells and interfere with their functioning. Pretty soon, many cells in the body are negatively affected by the presence of acid. However, the body offers a line of defense in the form of fat. Dietary and body fat neutralize the acid. The acid bound fat is either eliminated or stored, depending on its quantity. The body can only expel so much acid bound fat, so when you eat a large quantity of acidic foods you will store a great deal of fat.

So people who are overweight and obese are showing signs of excessive acidity. Their diets are too much for their body to handle, so body fat is used as a line of defense. Fat is a symptom, not the main problem. Many people think that eliminating fat from their diets is the key. However if they are still eating acidic foods they are robbing their bodies of the ability to protect themselves. Low-carbohydrate and high-protein diets carry high levels of fat, but individuals on these diets need that fat because their diet is highly acidic (animal protein has acidifying effects).

The dietary solution for weight loss is to follow a diet program high in alkaline foods. The pH miracle diet balances out the acidity you\’ve been developing in your body and will restore you eventually to your ideal weight.

19 Nov 08 Announcement => Dr. Robert O. Young & InnerLight Worldwide settle their differences

This news is “hot off the press”.

 

As many of you are aware, Dr. Young has been with InnerLight Inc. since it’s inception in 2001. Over the last few years he has not been as visible as the early years , only doing an event or two here or there. This was due to some disagreements he had with InnerLight ownership at the time. Well, ownership has changed, his feelings have changed and things will change moving forward.

 

As we close out 2008 and move into 2009 you will see Dr. Young getting more involved in many aspects of the business.  I’ve included the test of the ”press release”  below.

 

Words cannot even explain how happy I am to have Dr. Young & InnerLight Inc working closely together again.  As a “team” we are moving forward to get this “alkalizing” message out to the masses. We have the best products in the market and a message that is “second to none”. Watch out!

INNERLIGHT AND THE YOUNGS ANNOUNCE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

JOINT PRESS RELEASE

 

VALLEY CENTER. CA. and PROVO. UT. — November 14, 2008

InnerLight Inc. and Robert & Shelley Young announced today that they have reached a Post Judgment Settlement Agreement, and are moving forward to work together harmoniously to implement the Court’s Judgment and Order in their recent litigation in the U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania.

 

InnerLight is a direct sales/network marketing company that sells health and wellness products, including those that alkalize and energize the body. Robert & Shelley Young were InnerLight’s original founders. In 2001 they sold the InnerLight Company, their products, formulas and trademarks to Darius Marketing Inc.. and its wholly owned subsidiary, InnerLight Inc. The Young’s were retained as paid consultants, but in 2004 a dispute arose between the parties and was brought to the 4th District Federal Court in Philadelphia, PA.

 

After the conclusion of Post-Judgment Settlement talks between InnerLight’s CEO & President Kevin Brogan and Dr. Robert O. Young, both parties decided it would be in their best interest to amicably implement the Court’s Judgment and Order, and to put the past behind them to move forward. The Young’s remain as paid consultants as per their original contract, and the court’s order dated April 23, 2008. Dr. Young will also be working with InnerLight’s Quality Assurance and Research & Development departments.

 

Effective immediately, both parties are committed to sharing the message of alkaline health and the continued success of promoting the alkaline lifestyle, including promoting both the pH Miracle Center and the InnerLight product lines and opportunity.
